Montgomery Cole is a veteran attorney who has served as a partner at Madden, Jones, Cole & Johnson for nearly 40 years. He has extensive experience in the areas of trust, real estate, employment, and personal injury law. He has been with the firm since 1980, and has represented a variety of businesses and clients as an attorney, arbitrator, and mediator. Additionally, he served for many years as a mediator and arbitrator for the Los Angeles Superior Court.
Mr. Cole graduated cum laude from Loyola Law School of Los Angeles in 1980. Growing up, his father was a minister, and from him, Mr. Cole learned to behave with integrity in all aspects of life, and to always treat others with respect. He is a former president of Joseph A. Ball Clarence S. Hunt American Inns of Court, and is also a former member of the board of governors of the Long Beach Bar Association. Throughout his career, he has been honored and recognized for his superior work: he holds an AV rating from Martindale-Hubbell, and was listed as a Super Lawyer by Los Angeles Magazine several times, most recently in 2015. Outside of his work in law, he is a coach for youth sports teams.
